Cricket Ipswich wishes to acknowledge the contribution of Andrew Catton following a successful period of service in the role of Commercial Operations Manager.Catton advised the CI board earlier this month that he would vacate the position to take up a new career opportunity.While in the CI role, Catton worked diligently to raise the profile and professionalism of the organisation.Along with attracting and retaining sponsors, Catton has driven CI’s social media platforms, overseen general ground and canteen operations at the Ivor Marsden complex; and has worked with stakeholders within cricket and the wider community for the betterment of CI’s high performance programs and community competitions. CI president Simon Emmerson said:
“Andrew has been a great colleague over the past 16 months. Three years ago the board of Cricket Ipswich set a vision to become the leading regional cricket organisation in Queensland. This is an ambitious vision but it is one that has been embraced whole-heartedly by Andrew. His passion towards achieving this has left cricket in our region far better for his contribution. Thank you Andrew and best wishes.”
Cricket Ipswich will begin the recruitment process immediately and will update members as that process progresses. During the recruiting period president Simon Emmerson will act in the COM role.
