Bundamba Strollers

Strollers cricket club was established in 1947 by a group of local soccer players who were looking for a sport to play in the soccer off season and they decided cricket was the sport.

The name ‘Strollers’ came about because the footballers would finish a game of soccer and head over to the local Racehorse Hotel and the hotel publican spotted them and exclaimed “Look at this bunch Strolling across”.
